My youngest daughter is a little bit dramatic sometimes. Take our most recent issues with our heating and air conditioning system, for instance. It’s still the middle of summer, and the temperatures outside have been really hot lately. The only problem with this scenario is that my daughter says that our air conditioning smells like butt. She says that every time our air conditioning kicks on, she can smell a horrible smell coming through the air conditioning vents. I personally don’t smell it, and neither does my husband. But she does tend to have a very sensitive nose. One time she smelled something that no one else did and it ended up being a dead mouse that was underneath the basement stairs. She keeps on yelling about the air conditioner smelling like butt and rotten pickles and for the life of me, I just can’t figure out where the smell is coming from! We changed all of the air conditioner filters and we even put some of that potpourri stuff close to the air conditioning vents. But, nothing seems to help the problem of the stinky A/C. I guess I’m going to have to break down and call our local heating and air conditioning company so that they can come to the house and check out our central air conditioning unit. I mean, what else am I supposed to do? Right now, she’s acting a little dramatic. Every time she sees me turn the thermostat down so the A/C will kick on, she runs to the laundry room and grabs a clothespin to stick on the end of her nose!
