When I first purchased my new house, I was honestly excited, and what I wanted to do the most was set up a nice new home gym down in the basement. I had a nice little ventless heating system down in the basement, however I learned that you’re only supposed to use those for supplemental heating! They apparently cannot be used as your main heating source, as they aren’t adequate for heating an entire home. So, I called up the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C contractor to see what kind of heating in addition to cooling technology I could have installed down in the basement. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist that came over to check everything out quickly proposed the ductless mini split system. He said this would be ideal, as I wouldn’t have to add to the ductwork system since the ductless mini split units are just that – ductless, by nature! They’re also much more efficient for the heating and cooling needs of the property, and after hearing all that, I decided to have the ductless mini split units set up all around the house! They were strategically placed for Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C zone control, since I would then be able to heat in addition to cool every part of the house at my preferred settings. I especially enjoyed the sound of this, as I often worried about having to heat or cool the entire house to be comfy in just one room. Now I can get as much air conditioning as I wanted when I was working in the office, or exercise down in the basement with the heating system on and running. Now that I have everything installed, I’m absolutely loving our new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system! At first, I initially only wanted to do something with the basement just for the new home gym, but this new ductless mini split plan in my place is fantastic!
