My brother Gary as well as I recently had to replace our old cooling equipment. Gary as well as I had been going for years with the same outdated window a/c. The window a/c was not big, powerful, or efficient either. Finally the both of us took the plunge as well as bought a better cooling unit. The Heating as well as A/C company kept wanting us to go towards getting central air conditioning or buying a ductless mini split. With those A/C systems, Gary and I would also need to pay for cooling installation. Instead, Gary as well as I decided to cheap out instead. We got a portable a/c device that could just simply be plugged in. However, the portable cooling component took the more than 2 of us to lift into my truck, but it also can effectively cool our whole home, at least I think. The reason I don’t really know is because when Gary as well as I loaded up the AC, after about 3 miles the back gate of my truck flung wide open. The portable A/C component then flew right out the back of my truck as well as scattered across the road. Gary as well as I tried to pick up all the ruined pieces, but there was just too much. The A/C component was smashed as well as we were not able to repair the device. We are currently debating on bringing the pieces back to the A/C company as well as seeing if they will provide us a different unit for at least half price. I am too embarrassed to tell the story though. However, now I am out the cash as well as I don’t have any cooling, I might be forced to beg.
