My roommate Johnny is a major pipe guy, he make pipes, talk about pipes plus smokes them in the house! The pipe habit is not a total awful one, it is better than actual cigarettes! However, the hobby does ruin our home’s air quality… When Johnny makes pipes, he is sanding wood mainly. The debris not only gets all over the floor, but the HVAC program sucks it up. I consistently know when Johnny had made pipes. The air filter in the Heating with Air Conditioning is gross, the ductwork has a layer of dust around the outside and I can’t stop sneezing at all. The dust air quality is circulated around every room in the home has a layer of grime. It is a toss up on what is worse though, making pipes is awful for the air quality, but smoking the pipes are awful too. The actual odor is quite pleasant, but it is tobacco still. I don’t want to be around second hand smoke. Johnny is such a nice guy that I don’t want to ban him from smoking and making pipes in the home though. I am hoping that if I get an media air cleaner everything will be better. The media air cleaner is meant to clean and purify air conditions. It can remove odors and stop dust from accumulating in the Heating as well as Air Conditioning. I am hopeful I will never have to say anything to Johnny. I am hopeful the media air cleaner does the job. I need the odors to be gone and the dust to no longer go in the ductworks or Heating as well as Air Conditioning.
