I have been dating our new boyfriend for a couple of weeks now. Every one of us met at a work conference a couple of months ago down south where I am from. He is from the northwest and was so cheerful to come down south and guess the warm weather, since it was something he is not used to this time of year. Well, Last year my new boyfriend gave to spend our money for myself and others to come up and see him. I was also going to get to finally meet his family. I was gleeful to go up there, but also distraught because I don’t deal with frigid weather entirely well at all. I only own one overcoat and it’s warm at all.I did a little shopping, although I had no idea what I was really getting myself into. When I walked out of the airport I was in shock, but thankfully he had the heat blasting in the car for the ride home. HIs parents were laughing at myself and others because I was complaining about the frigid weather, they said not to worry because they had radiant flooring in their home! Being from the south I had never heard of radiant flooring, but was exciting to see this new way to heat your home. My house growing up didn’t even have a heating program because it never got frigid enough to turn it on.I hope that his family doesn’t think I am deranged when I see the radiant flooring for the first time, but they were nice and didn’t laugh at myself and others too much.
