While on my way up to home, I stopped by a friends home to drop off some clothes. My boyfriend had outgrown them plus wanted to give them away. I try plus pass on multiple things down to kids as possible to help out with finances on their part. Kids never seem to wear out their clothes as they are really growing plus many of the things were like new. When I arrived, the temperature outside was around 25 degrees plus it was snowing like crazy. I just wanted to drop the clothing off plus get back into my warm car. When I knocked on the door I was surprised when the boy came to the door wearing shorts, a t shirt, plus no socks. I was absolutely upset plus hoped that some of the winter time clothes I was bringing would fit him. How could a boy be dressed like that in the middle of winter? Well, to my surprise, the whole family was in summer time gear. I realized fast why this was the case. I was dripping with sweat within hours of standing in the door. My neighbor explained that they used a wood stove to heat the home plus there was no way to regulate the climate control. It was either way too hot, or way too cold. They used this form of heat because it was more cost effective than heating with gas or electric plus would often open a window to cool the home down a bit.
