When I was a teenager, I was pretty much always hot. I used to assume I was going to sweat through my clothes before I even got out the door in the morning to head to school! I hated that feeling, too. I felt as though I had to take showers all the time just to keep from smelling something like a sizzling sock! Well, my parents had a central air conditioner installed in our household, however they hardly ever ran the air conditioning device in our house. I thought this was just deranged and also a waste of a perfectly fantastic air conditioner device! I never understood why they even had a central air conditioner device installed if they weren’t ever going to use it! But they consistently said that the air conditioner device bills were way too high in the summertime, and that’s why they didn’t turn the control equipment down so that the air conditioner system would crank on. This was terrible news for me, since I was so hot-natured and sizzling always! So one birthday, I recognize it was when I was about to turn 15 or 16, my parents asked what I wanted as a birthday gift. I knew exactly what I wanted! I asked them for my very own air conditioner device to install in my upstairs room. That way, I would be able to stay nice and cool in my room, no matter how hot they kept it downstairs with their lack of central air conditioner use! They thought it sounded like a most unusual birthday present, however they got me a window air conditioning device anyway. After that, I was much more comfy at my household – at least while I was upstairs in my own room!
