I am wondering about this

The smoke detectors in our home are way too sensitive. They go off at least once a week for some reason or another. Whenever I cook, I have to open all the doors and windows and turn on the ceiling fan, but even this is not enough. It is annoying too because it is truly hot outside so it gets hot inside when I open the home all up. The HVAC system has to work harder to cool the house back down again once cooking is done and the home is closed up again. I don’t want our smoke detectors to work less well, it is important that they alert me and our family if there is a fire. I wish they did not got off quite so often. I wonder if a filtration system would help solve this issue at all. My HVAC unit is right in the kitchen. I suppose that it pushes semi-smoky air throughout the entire house and this is what causes the detectors to go off.  I am tired of my bedroom smelling like steak. I suppose I will get an HVAC worker to come out and provide some estimates and options for a filtration system that can hook directly up the the air conditioning vents. Then we could keep the house cool while cooking and still not have the smoke detectors all going off. At least, I can dream that this will work, can’t I? I just don’t know what else to do.
