I dread the long trips

My hubby plus I recently retired, plus both of us definitely wanted to purchase a beach condo or a lodge as a way to get out of society for awhile plus rejuvenate. All of us looked around at several weird lodges plus beach houses, but both of us ended up going with a nice lodge on the lake. I am so glad with our decision. Since both of us bought it, both of us have stayed out there several times. It’s far enough away from the city that it’s completely private, yet it’s close enough to the that both of us can drive to the grocery store or to a nice dinner in a half hour. Something that both of us weren’t prepared for is the price of heating the arena. Of course, while I was in the summer, no heat is needed, but in the fall plus winter, it is absolutely cold where both of us live, plus heat is necessary. All of us would love to travel out to the lodge while I was in the Wintertide months, but both of us simply don’t have the time. Just because both of us aren’t there doesn’t mean that both of us can keep the heat off though. If both of us turn off the heat completely, the pipes will freeze plus cause another whole problem that both of us don’t want. My hubby has figured out the lowest temperature that both of us can possibly keep it at separate from the pipes colds. Because of this, it hasn’t been outrageously extravagant, but it’s still a bit more than both of us were expecting. All of us have considered winterizing it, but some of our kids want to spend their Christmas vacation out there. I guess everything comes with its hidden cost, but I hope both of us can figure out a way to save some money on our new lodge.
