I thought yoga and heated floors would be a nice combo together. That is a horrible combination, by the way, however i am a sizable time workout freak. I do all types of workouts throughout the week. I do cheerleading, kickboxing, weight lifting plus yoga style workouts; My gas furnace quit on me last week and I decided to upgrade with radiant floors. I thought for our numerous workouts, radiant floors would work perfect. The gas furnace stays in the flooring level plus none of the hot air rises. Everything that touches the floors absorb the heat. I savor to job out with folding mats. I thought it would be comfortable having basically a heated folding mat! Heating plus absolutely working out should never mix. But when I slip or tumble, the radiant oil furnace makes our hands sweat. I basically slip plus fall the whole time, and kickboxing and the heated gas furnace is not as bad. My feet get clammy plus I get tired quick. Weightlifting day I never notice that I have radiant floors! But, yoga is the worst, however laying on the heated mat is the worst. I get so tired, lazy plus sweaty. I don’t want to turn off our radiant oil furnace while I job out. The entire apartment heating would be affected then. But being super hot while stretching is not fun. I type of wish that I had a oil furnace installed. I was able to be out of the line of heating easier. I also could switch off the oil furnace plus not have the whole apartment right away get cold.
