My sibling & I were raised on a farm. We grew corn, carrots, & potatoes. Every one of us had a few farm animals as well. Every one of us had two dairy cows, a handful of egg-laying chickens, & a couple of dogs. When my sibling was 12, our parents bought her a kitten. My sibling named the kitten Colonel kitty cat! Colonel was still living when my sibling went off to college. I was already living in an apartment at the time, & my sibling wanted to transfer in with me! She could not take Colonel to the dorms, & my apartment was only a couple of miles from the college campus! Initially, I urged my sibling to leave Colonel at our parents & live in the dorms. She entirely did not want to leave her cat alone though. Eventually, I agreed to let my sibling transfer in with the cat. My sibling was residing in the apartment for a few weeks, before we had our first serious argument. I thought we would argue about the animal or bills, however our first argument was over the temperature control device. Every single time I left for work in the day, my sibling modified the temperature control device settings. I like to keep the temperature at 73 degrees, however my sibling was adjusting the temperature control device to 65 degrees each day. I did not notice the problem at first, until I acquired the first electric bill. It was $100 more than any previous month. I told my sibling that she would need to find a part-time job & help with the bills. She was unhappy with this request, despite the fact that she did not have any other real options.
