Growing up, I lived with my entire family on a horse farm, and we loved being outdoors, but the horses took a lot of work. Every one of us all had yearly chores that every one of us had to do to help out around the property. I consistently had the chore of feeding the horses in the evenings and shoveling out their stalls, however by the time I was done, all I ever wanted to do was go inside, shower, and crank up the a/c full blast; For some reason, there was consistently awful air circulation in our bedroom. I think something was wrong with the air vent, so one day, after and long and boiling hot evening of chores, I decided to drive to the next town and buy my own portable air conditioning unit. I was done dealing with the air conditioning problems in my room, and I knew that having my own component would eliminate them altogether! When I got condo and set it up in my room, it felt amazing! The cool air was just what I needed… There was no problem with the modern cooling method until my mom got that week’s utility bill; Apparently, I had used a lot of power by running and additional air conditioning, and the bill was about $75 higher than it should have been; When she realized that it was because of my personal a/c, she was miserable, and asked myself and others to stop using it. I ended up taking it out of my room, but it was fun while it lasted! Portable air conditionings task particularly well, and if I ever need a way to cool a small space in the future, that’s actually what I’ll use.
