One issue I have had in our house for years during the Winter time weeks is having damp floors! And no, I am not talking about just frigid floors, they were very damp as in slightly wet from the condensation of our heating and cooling system. You see, I have tile floors and it is just how it is occasionally. This past year I figured out a solution for this thanks to our neighbor’s idea. I decided to go and get radiant radiant floors installed in our house! It was not an simple task for me, at least financially. The heating and cooling corporation was kind enough to provide myself and others a discount on the replacement of the radiant radiant floors, so I made out ok I guess. The heating and cooling specialist that did the replacement was at our beach house for a few days off and on, and during this time I had to stay with a friend. This was because in order to put in the radiant radiant floors, he had to rip up the tile and replace it within our whole home. It was quite the work. But now, I can tell you that thanks to our radiant radiant floors, I have no more problems with the damp floors, and not to mention our beach house feels great in the winter! Having the radiant radiant floors has also saved myself and others tons on our annually electric bill as it saves lots of energy not having to use our central heating plan as much during the Winter time weeks. Also, the beauty of radiant radiant floors is the fact it can all be controlled from the temperature control on the wall, the same as you operate your central oil furnace!
