I recall this bad ordeal my family and I went through. It began in the middle of the summer season during a bad heat wave, and our air conditioner broke down on us. I don’t think we’ve ever been so hot and sweaty in our lives! This was turning into a very dangerous situation too, because we could have suffered heat stroke! I purchased a bunch of ice from the store and we kept it in the freezer, and kept using ice to try and keep ourselves cool. My child even thought to put some ice in a basket and blow the fan over it for a little bit of cooling relief. That really worked to relieve us for a short while, but it wasn’t like air conditioning. It was better than nothing though! When I went to the store to try to find some window air conditioner units, they were already sold out! It was such a stressful, strenuous situation. I had no choice, and decided to put my family in a hotel until we could get a hold of a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor to help us fix our air conditioner! It took a few days, however eventually I was able to get through to a venue that was able to help us out! When our air conditioner was finally back on in our venue, I swore that I would constantly handle our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C method repair before the dire weather arrived. I never wanted to experience being overheated like that again! The whole time we were suffering through that experience, I was thinking it could have been avoided simply by having an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tune up before the heatwave arrived.
