There is nothing worse than when the heating method just won’t turn on, then every year, I run our gas furnace to that point, and you would suppose that I would learn… Nope, I literally kill our gas furnace once a year. The reason is that I do honestly nothing with it. However I don’t change the gas furnace filter because I just plain forget. So all that dust and dirt goes right into the heater. The heating method then works super difficult and long hours since it is filled with grime. Eventually our gas furnace starts making some horrible noises, letting me guess that it is dying. That is where I do a little inside dusting and hope it works. Nope, the gas furnace then whines and pleads with me for a few more weeks. Then it eventually quits. Not having a gas furnace turn on is terrible. I have area furnaces in our broom closest handy for this. I then need to run them all day, everyday until I can get a heating and A/C supplier over to do the costly gas furnace repair. You would suppose that I would be on it with gas furnace repair by now. I have suffered long bouts of chilly weather with no heating. I have spent time, energy and good effort to deduce the problem. Nothing seems to motivate me to keep up with heating repair all year long. Then all I would need to do is get a furnace tune up early on and manage to clean the furnace filter every month. If I did that, I would save myself a lot of time and stress in the Winter season.
