Recently, my wifey and I had won a trip to what was supposed to be this actually over the top getaway resort! It was very weird how my wifey and I won this… She and I were passing by a diner to eat at while the two of us were on a road trip the other week. My wifey and I won this getaway because she and I ended up being the 77th customers,! What are the odds of that happening? So, of course my wifey and I were over the moon and glad about it, and accepted the prize. Yet when we back from this resort taking the getaway and it was actually awful! Not the place itself–that was lovely–however the resort had totally no heating or cooling system working! It is getting pretty chilly outside. Heating is needed this time of year, and the heating system was not working in the resort! My wifey and I ended up having to go out and buy a few portable electric furnaces at a store near the resort, just so she and I could be moderate and nice in the evening hours to get a good night’s sleep… The electric furnaces my wifey and I obtained did actually make the hotel room cozy while we were at this resort, however it was otherwise actually not good. Plus I constantly get dust sensitivities for some reason when having to be around and rely on electric furnaces to heat a place. I’m not so awful with portable air conditioning units in the Summer time months, but, portable furnaces actually flare up these dust sensitivities! Needless to say, my wifey and I had an ok time, however without heating, it made it a real task to have a great time. However you get what you pay for, I guess! That’s what they say, right?
