My partner and I went on our honeymoon roughly a month ago. It was such a lovely time however the hotel that both of us stayed at had a terrible Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device. We stayed in a tropical resort for close to a week. When both of us got to our hotel room both of us were seriously impressed with all the amenities that came with it. There was free wi-fi, both of us had a kitchen, and an appealing view of the ocean, however even though the hotel room looked so nice, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device was truly no match. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device seemed as though it was never replaced when the room was renovated. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device was really a split system, meaning that it was a central a/c that had 3 components. Personally my partner and I thought that the one component that was outside had to be faulty. It seemed that the evaporator coil looked great and was functioning regularly. When my partner looked at it she said it had to be alright however the outdoor machine that contains the condenser and compressor must have been not working. The two of us had no idea where the condenser and compressor happened to be located and instead of trying to repair and find what the issue was, both of us just called the front desk. It took 6 hours for a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device supplier from the hotel to come to our room and repair the issue. Since both of us were in a tropical location both of us had no air conditioning in our room for that entire 6 hours. So both of us were forced to stay in the lobby or go to the restaurant that had air conditioning. After a few hours, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device supplier found that the split device had failed completely, so both of us were put in a bigger suite. It honestly ended up working out in our favor!
