As a kid I was super into physical fitness. Now I am more into “fittin this” pizza into my mouth, you know what I mean? Back in the day I was a long distance runner, long and lean like a gazelle, able to go miles at a time. These days I drive down to the end of my driveway to check the mail. In other words, I spend my entire childhood in great shape, and I am spending my adulthood as a not so great shape — amorphous blob shape! That had to change, which is why I decided to put a home gym into my garage. There would be no intense workouts, though, until I had installed an HVAC system in there, too. I know my limits, I know what my body is capable of, and I knew that without a cooling system of some kind I would just sweat and die right there on the garage floor. Seriously, when you are so out of shape, like I am, just “hitting it hard” can be dangerous for your body, and having a climate control system can help you to stay healthy while you get in shape. An air conditioner will not only cool you off, buyt circulate the air to keep the indoor air quality high. You need superior air quality to help you keep breathing easily while you work out your muscles. My home gym may not be much, just a yoga mat and a weight bench, but since I have a good air conditioner, it is all the home gym I will need.
