This one day when we finally decided to contact the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company for needed service, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintenance professional was shocked when he looked at our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance! He said that the air filter was totally filthy, however when he was talking about an air filter, we didn’t even realize what he was talking about. When we told him that we didn’t know about it, he was in total shock. Well, we only owned this dwelling for multiple years and we didn’t even know anything about maintaining a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance. We just knew how to control it with the thermostat. He gave us a little talk about regular Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance service and how crucial it is to take care of everything. He explained that the air filter was easily one of the most crucial parts of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance as that is where all the air moves through and keeps all the dust and airborne contaminants out of your air. Without changing the air filter, your appliance will start to struggle and dust and multiple air pollutants will stay in your air making for terrible air quality. He showed us the air filter and we were truly disgusted! He said it’s crucial to get the HVAC duct cleaned so the HVAC appliance can work smoothly. This guy was easily right and so we made sure to change our air filter consistently from that point moving forward and we had our HVAC duct cleaned out. We were truly surprised at how much lower the utility bills were after getting our HVAC duct cleaned and kept up with the air filter changes. Honestly, that was fantastic motivation to change them at least once per month because of the energy savings!
