I have been with my girlfriend for close to 7 years now. I plan on asking her to marry me soon! I have wanted to be her husband since the minute I laid eyes on her & I guess she feels the same way about me too! The two of us have a wonderful relationship & for the most part the two of us easily don’t argue too much at all. The two of us don’t live together just yet, however I am hoping once the two of us are engaged she will also want to get a place together. However, there is a single thing that the two of us do fight about often nowadays & that is my girlfriend’s task. She works for her father’s Heating, Ventilation & A/C device company & she hopes to eventually run the business on her own. I know that she is putting in all this work because she wants to show her dad that she is able to handle it. However, it is a 24 hour Heating, Ventilation & A/C device company that will make house calls in the midst of the night. This essentially means that my girlfriend works very unusual hours. I work a traditional 9-5 task & just want her to be off when I get back to our household so the two of us can spend time together. However, she has been working the night shift a lot lately & it is easily putting a strain on our relationship. I don’t want to provide her a difficult time because I know she easily does prefer working for the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device company. I just hope these aren’t the hours she has to work from here on!
