I have realized over the years that there are certain things that make your home feel more homely. Something that is absolutely essential to make your place feel like home, is your HVAC system. Lets face it, if you are in the summer months and you don’t have a working cooling system, you’re not going to feel all that comfortable in your own home. As a matter of fact, you will likely lose your motivation and not feel like doing much of anything. It’s hard to actually have any sort of energy when you find yourself sweating to death. Also you want a good heating system inside the winter season. I lucked out when I found a nice house that had not only a nice heating system, but also a charming little fireplace. That fireplace has saved us a few times also because we have experienced furnace malfunctions in the midst of the winter a few times. It’s a smart move to have multiple heating sources in the winter months, especially if you live in the North. That fireplace really adds to the ambience of your home and what a great way to make your home feel homely! My family and I love to hang out around the fireplace and we even have our TV set up close by so we can get comfortable and watch our favorite TV shows and watch some excellent movies! We love to make popcorn and have drinks. We like eggnog and hot cocoa! It’s really all about family and excellent appliances to keep you perfectly comfortable in your home!
