I have been babysitting for the same family for about ten years now. They are extremely wealthy and they pay me very well. I started sitting for them right when I got into high school and they offered me a full time babysitting job when I graduated. I can’t say that I thought I was going to be babysitting as my career, but the money is great and I am happy that I don’t have to spend a ton of money on college. The families kids are great too and they have become like a family to me. Because they have so much money they are always having improvement made to their house. This month they are having radiant flooring installed. I had no idea what radiant flooring was until I worked for them. Radiant flooring allows for hot water to travel through pipes under the floor and warm the space they are in. Most people have radiant flooring installed in their bathroom or family room. However, this family wanted to have radiant flooring installed in their whole home. It doesn’t really even get that cold in the area we live, but I guess if you have the money to spend it doesn’t really matter.
I hope that one day I will have the kind of money that this family does, but for now I am just going to keep babysitting for them and hope that they never let me go or that they continue to have kids together because I don’t want to leave!
