Life is full of unexpected good times as well as concerns. My partner and I have both been a bit discouraged with our jobs lately. Both of us like our supervisors, and just don’t want to leave, however I have been applying at many other offices in the area and am just waiting to see if someone offers me a similar position that I am currently in. My partner, on the other hand, is being under paid for what he is doing, and he could legitimately find another job. He is having a hard time talking to his current supervisor about it though. Well, both of us had a couple major things break down in our condo in the past couple months, and I suppose it’s finally pushing my partner to either talk to his boss about a pay raise or to begin looking for a better job. One of the most expensive things that broke down recently is our oil furnace! We thought it could be fixed, so we called a Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist to come out ands take a look at it. Unfortunately, he said that it was not fixable and that both of us needed a new one. Of course, we knew it was going to be expensive, however both of us were blown out of the water on just how expensive a new oil furnace really was. Thankfully, we were able to find a used one in good condition, and it was nicely priced, so we bought it. We finally have a working oil furnace once again, and I hope this whole situation helps my partner to realize that he needs a new job.
