When we were having dinner the other weekend with my in-laws, who I do not like or get along with, and my father in law said he could repair my HVAC system, I decided to let him have at it since he talked a good game. I entirely shouldn’t have let him mess with it because I easily and really didn’t notice any problems and it was the right temperature on the temperature control thermostat on the wall, then he insisted the the air quality was very bad and the system needed a tune-up. Well, I don’t know exactly what he did to the HVAC system however it wasn’t easily working at all after he worked on it! I highly suspect that he sabotaged the idea on purpose just to make me even more irritated and frustrated with everything. I had to call out an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman for emergency repair on a holiday because of this! The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman was asking what exactly we did to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea because it was in real bad shape that would not have happened on its own. I explained to him what happened with my father in-law. He said that guy must hate me really bad or something because it seemed like he damaged the HVAC unit on purpose. He had to install a bunch of fresh and new parts and on top of the emergency repair fee, I ended up paying a fortune of over 1 thousand bucks for this repair! When I called up my father in-law to reem him about what he did, he acted like he was completely innocent. He acted like he was doing me a favor and was mad that I was irritated with him for lending me a hand. What a jerk!
