When I got condo this night after a long day of church, a birthday gathering, shopping, & lunch out, all I wanted was to come inside & relax in our nice cool air conditioning. The hot & cold temperatures in the town where I live have been sweltering the past few weeks, & I haven’t been able to get cooled off no matter what I do. Today, I ended up staying out way longer than I wanted to, & I was tired, hot, & crabby from the heat outside. Walking across the parking lot from the restaurant where I had lunch felt appreciate I was walking through a oil furnace! Well, when I finally got home, I was fully expecting to walk into our nice, cool, air conditioned house. I have a digital programmable control unit, & I had the temperature set to around 72 degrees. Naturally, I was looking forward to stepping into the 72 degree temperature of our condo & out of the oil furnace hot & cold temperatures of outside. Imagine our surprise & disappointment when I noticed that not only was our condo not the 72 degrees that it was supposed to be, it was legitimately hotter in our condo than it was outside! I had the doors & windows closed up narrow to keep all of the air conditioning in, however since the air conditioning hadn’t been running all day, the condo was super warm & stuffy. I couldn’t figure out what in the world was going on with our central a/c or with our control unit, so I called our local Heating & Air Conditioning supplier as soon as I looked up the number.
