My wife and I are the proud owners of a small French Bistro in the village. We’ve owned The Bistro for five years, and business has been very good. The first setting is the morning time. We programmed the thermostat so the morning temperature would always be 74 degrees. At 10 in the morning, the programmable thermostat adjust the temperature to 71°. All day long, the temperature Remains the Same throughout our building. At 10 at night, our restaurant closes. There programmable thermostat revert back to 74 degrees, while our kitchen staff and crew are cleaning for the night. When the last person clocks out, the programmable thermostat changes the temperature to 78°. It’s only been three months, but I can see a difference in our monthly electric allowances. Having the programmable thermostat is great, because my wife and I don’t have to worry about the temperature settings in our building. Everything is automated, and that means there are no human errors. The programmable thermostat wasn’t even very expensive. The most difficult part was integrating the programmable thermostat with our punch clock. We had to hire an IT expert to help come up with a solution. They created a special software program to integrate the two machines.
