My boyfriend and I have been dating for a couple of months now. We met on a dating app so I am trying to take things really slow because I have heard all of the horror stories. My friends are always sending my articles where girls have been killed by guys they met online. I know they are just trying to be protective, but it is getting a little annoying at this point. We have been seeing each other for a while now and I really do like him. However, I still haven’t’ let him come over to my apartment and I haven’t been to his. I think it is time to go over to his place so I can see what it is like. He told me he would make me dinner at his apartment later this week and I agreed. When I walked in the door the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. I was really happy to see that he cared about what his place looked like when I came over. However, one thing did stand out to me and not in a good way. It was how cold it was when I walked in. I was glad I brought a sweater because he had the air conditioner blasting. It was freezing cold and I think he noticed me shivering. Thankfully, he turned up the temperature on the thermostat right away. I really hope that he doesn’t always have the air conditioner blasting like that!
