The constant heater use

When you work for a non-profit organization, you always getb unexpected requests from your bosses! For me, I was asked to attend a conference way up in the North which I never been that far up the country in the past. I was more than ok to take a few afternoons off from work to attend this conference, so I eagerly went home to pack my bags as well as get ready to head to the airport the following day; When I got to the airport, I was dressed for the northern weather, so I had a heavy coat on, long jeans and boots from when I used to work over in distribution, then as I entered the airport, I was greeted with an overwhelming level of humid heat air that practically left me nauseated! It was as if the airport terminal was running the gas furnace in every single concourse, rendering the entire airport into a pressing sauna, however before I checked my bags, I was covered in sweat and had to take off my heavy coat! To make things more frustrating, I was told that my flight was cancelled, as well as the next flight wasn’t for 5 hours! I had to endure this miserably overheated airport for the entire day. At this point, I was kicking myself for not packing any light clothes. Thankfully, I was able to find a small bar in the airport that had excellent air conditioner, as well as ceiling fans that were spinning overhead to keep the place pretty cool. With nothing better to do, I sat at the bar, taking in the cool air from their air conditioning i as I sipped on a mixed drink – all this, at 10:45 in the morning. It was crazy!
