I have been dating my new boyfriend for a couple of weeks now. We met at a work conference a couple of months ago down south where I am from. He is from the northwest and was so happy to come down south and feel the warm weather, since it was something he is not used to this time of year. Well, last week my new boyfriend offered to pay for me to come up and see him. I was also going to get to finally meet his family. I was excited to go up there, but also nervous because I don’t deal with cold weather very well at all. I only own one jacket and it’s warm at all.I did a little shopping, but I had no idea what I was really getting myself into. When I walked out of the airport I was in shock, but thankfully he had the heat blasting in the car for the ride home. HIs parents were laughing at me because I was complaining about the cold weather, they said not to worry because they had radiant flooring in their home. Being from the south I had never heard of radiant flooring, but was exciting to see this new way to heat your home. My house growing up didn’t even have a heating system because it never got cold enough to turn it on.I hope that his family doesn’t think I am crazy when I see the radiant flooring for the first time, but they were nice and didn’t laugh at me too much.
