I do not like spas and massage parlors. The services cost way more than they should. I also hate the thermostat in the place. It seems, if you want to relax, you need to sweat a lot. I do not like that anytime I get a massage, the heater is set to about 90 degrees. I get the idea on why adding more heating would be nice for the masseuse. The heating loosens your muscles and makes it simpler for the therapist to move things. As the customer getting the massage done, extra heating is not good. I do not like that I am all sweaty when a stranger’s bare hands touch me. I do not like that I stick to the table and leave a nasty wet spot. Massages are not the only relaxing things that get too much heating. There are hot tubs, steam rooms and facials that include heat. Each of the those services either boasts having a lot of heating or there just seems to be way too much heating in that room. Why can’t these places be the right temperature or even have a bit of AC? When I want to chill, being overheated and sweaty is not ideal. I usually turn up my A/C unit and then I can get comfortable. So a spa and massage day for me is not my favorite thing. I have tried many different businesses too. The excessive amounts of heating apparently is a sizable thing for them. No massage parlor has a reasonable temperature set in there.
