My wifey and I have lived in the same home since the late 90’s. While we’ve appreciated the four-study room beach home and raising a family of more than five within its walls, the people I was with and I were ready to transfer on and leave the home after all the kids moved out two years ago. It was then that my wifey and I agreed upon a more than four year idea to sell the home and transfer out! The idea was mostly a timeline of renovations around the home that would increase the value of the home. In the past two years, we’ve renovated the kitchen and both washrooms, and we’ve also applied new paint to every room in the home permitting. Before going any further though, the people I was with and I want to make some significant changes to our heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit. After having a licensed company sweep through our plan to look for repairs, he found that the people I was with and I needed to replace a few segments of the air duct before any new features could be added. Once the air duct is repaired, the people I was with and I idea to install zone control temperature controls in the house. This will allow individuals occupying multiple rooms to have the temperature of that room set to whatever they’d prefer! To further advance the home’s appliances, the people I was with and I want to make sure each temperature control can sync with the home’s Wi-Fi network. Doing this will allow users to adjust the temperature setting remotely, either with a iPhone, tablet or PC! The people I was with and I also wanted to look into the installation of a mini-split ductless plan for the garage, so future tenants of the home could use the garage section as a beach home gym, or a comfortable workshop. Either way, we’re going to make sure the resale value of this home is through the roof – literally!
