I have lived on the west coast for my entire adolescent life. I grew up here, have friends and family here, but this place just isn’t for me. Fortunately, I have been awarded a lucrative position with a firm on the east coast. It requires that I have to move across the country to take this new position, but it is genuinely worth doing so! It would actually get my name out there too, and set myself up for serious success in the future. While I’m not genuinely psyched to move to the east coast, I know I will be able to get along well enough once I get adjusted. The people on that side of the country have a reputation for being crass, but people here are rude behind your back, so which is worse, eh? The weather will legitimately be the toughest thing to get used to. It can get pretty brutally chilly while in the middle of Winter on the east coast there, which is something we just don’t deal with out here. Winter will be difficult to deal with, too. Having to use a gas furnace to keep warm, while having to stay indoors, is not my notion of a fun time. I guess it isn’t like that too often and all, but it just feels as if it will be a lengthy adjustment period. I will have to make sure to get a place with excellent Heating and A/C installed. Otherwise, I might find myself wanting to move back far sooner than I want to!
