My favorite thing to do whenever I think it’s freezing freezing outside is curl up on the couch plus to try to watch a nice film. We experience long Winter seasons where I live these days, so snowy days are a usual occurrence during the Winter season weeks we have. A few years ago, I made some big renovations at our beach house just so that our beach house would be even more comfortable than it was for many years before on freezing days. So, I had radiant floors installed! A heated flooring idea really was something I had consistently heard nice things about for a while. Several of our close friends had them, plus they told myself and others many times that they never had to worry about warming their houses abruptly plus so very efficiently. Aside from being able to stay cozy, I was especially interested at that point in how I could reduce our power bill by making our beach house far more efficient. It turned out that radiant floors saved energy because I know they disperse sizzling air more evenly than a traditional HVAC unit. Regular furnaces often just end up over working because they usually are only able to send air through a few vents. This means for us that they have to run longer just to get the same amount of sizzling air pumped in the house. Now that I have a radiant flooring system, our little beach house honestly is our sanctuary. I often don’t step foot too far outside of it on the weekends, plus it’s because I think it’s more comfortable there than somewhere else. I think lucky to have a wonderful home that I love so much. If I didn’t have to leave it all Winter season long, I recognize that I would be just plenty happy with that!
