I have been looking for a new task lately because I easily hate my new task. I work at a fast food diner and I think it is time that I transfer on to something else. I easily like the people I work with, even though I don’t find the work interesting at all. I saw a posting on a task board that a local grocery store was looking for people to work in their warehouse. I thought this would be a fantastic chance and the pay was higher than I was making now. So I applied and I got the task right away. They said I would be laboring in the freezer of the warehouse, but they would provide myself and others with the proper gear to wear during my shifts. On my first afternoon I knew it was going to be cold, even though I didn’t expect that it would be quite as chilly as it was. I was frigid the whole time even with the moderate gear they provided me. The worst part was the break room room was almost as chilly as the freezer, it was like they had the cooling system blasting throughout the warehouse. However, after talking with some of my coworkers I learned this was not the case. In other sections of the warehouse they didn’t even turn on the cooling system. They said it felt like the gas furnace was turned on and it was the middle of the summer. It sounds like my new employer needs to get these Heating as well as Air Conditioning troubles under control or they are going to have some unhappy employees.
