I have the neatest story. Barb recently bought a home right around the corner from me. I was so glad because Barb is a good pal of mine. I came over to help her clean the home before she moved in so that there wasn’t any gross items or dirt left from the owners before her. We spent the first morning on the family room, the second afternoon on the living and family rooms, and another total afternoon on all the family rooms. It was back breaking work, but in the end paid off. The last thing Barb wanted to do before she moved in was have the Heating, Ventilation & A/C ducting cleaned of grime and debris. The appointment was busy for the next afternoon, so I didn’t expect to see Barb. In fact, Barb showed up at our door with a look of horror in her face that was so funny, I truly burst out in giggles. She retold the events quickly. The heating and cooling dealer came to her home to clean the Heating, Ventilation & A/C vents. She was getting out some dishes in the family room when she heard the funniest humming sound. She poked her head in the room to ask the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system workers if they were making sounds since she was hearing the sound and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The workers stopped right then to investigate, and for great reason, as it turns out. Her house had sat by itself for a few months, and during that time the ducting had been infested with insects.
