For me, family is what makes life worthwhile.. Having a job is great, but for me a job is just a tool to make currency and support the family. I enjoy my work well enough, I guess, however ultimately, I don’t really care much for it. It is simply what I have to do to keep our family healthy, fed, and safe; This view of life has made it possible for me to endure awful jobs with a good attitude. My mind is always on home, which keeps me happy.
I do like my new job, mind you, where I run the front office for an Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair corporation. I don’t really go on repair calls, and really don’t know the first thing about cooling systems, however it’s a pretty good work. Customers call in with the heating and cooling troubles, and I listen to them complain and then assign an Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech to go on a house call. I also maintain the task logs, the driving records, the mileage reports, and all sorts of other boring things included in running a small Heating, Ventilation & A/C business.
I felt unquestionably blessed to be working here last week, when my spouse called me and said the A/C had stopped working. My boss was so nice. He drove out to our house himself and did the Heating, Ventilation & A/C inspection free of charge. He got it fixed, and then gave me a bunch of tips and tricks to keep our cooling system running fine for a long time to come.
