I know a lot of details

I’m envious of my sister as well as her hubby.  They live off of the grid as well as off of their land. They own about 75 acres as well as having a dirt road leading to their property.  Wells, septic tanks, propane, as well as solar power supply all of their utility needs. The two of them hunt as well as raise chickens with rabbits and a garden for food.  But, the piece I love most is the wood-burning stove used to keep them comfortable all Wintertime long. During the Wintertime, the solar power array doesn’t produce as well, as well as proper heating systems use a lot of electricity.  However, their property has a lot of trees so they have plenty of firewood to keep the wood-burning stove roaring as well as to keep their chalet toasty warm. I wish my area got chilly enough for a wood burning stove. It barely gets low enough to run an electric heating system more than a month out of every year. I also do not get the access to as much free firewood like my sister and her hubby do. However, I recently found that there are fake wood-burning stoves that are area heating systems.  They are sold just about everywhere and they look unquestionably similar to the real stove. These decorative area heating systems run on only electricity but, displays a nice fake flame. I assume they won’t compare to a real stove. There is no way to get that smoky aroma, real flame look, as well as white hot heat of a real wood-burning stove into a plastic box. But some have little grated doors as well as being cute. That might be the closest I get to a real wood-burning stove where I am.
