I’m worried about big issues

My roommate & I have finally resolved an ongoing argument of ours. A few  weeks after we moved in together, we realized that we had totally different preferences when it came to how we ran the air conditioning system. Susan wanted to run the air conditioning system all of the time. She gets overheated super easily, whereas I was am more inclined to keep it turned off.  I only run the air conditioner when necessary. I was far less willing to turn it on because my parents taught me to prioritize energy conservation and only run the air conditioning system on especially hot days. When the monthly utility bill would come in the mail, I would get frustrated. It seemed to be  unreasonably high. I knew this was because of Susan’s habit of always running the air conditioner. We weren’t able to come to a compromise until we spoke to our landlord. When we explained to him the reasons we were considering moving out, he offered to look into a zone controlled Heating & A/C. I had not heard of this type of heating & cooling system until he mentioned it. Zoned heating and cools allows the homeowner to adjust temperature in individual rooms without having to impact the entire house. This sounded perfect because it allowed Susan to run the air conditioning system in her room.  We didn’t need to cool the rest of the house. After the zone controlled unit was installed, Susan and I immediately stopped having arguments over temperature. We were able to live together without any troubles over comfort. Zone controlled HVAC units help to save money, conserve energy and improve comfort.
