I must say, there are no experience like having your heating plan die on you in the middle of a blizzard! That’s what happened last winter. It genuinely could have been avoided if I would have had my Heating plan tuned up in the fall, however I figured I didn’t need it. At that time, I felt like my Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C were all working great, so why should I pay the expense to have a professional take a look at everything? I figured if I did call them, they would really tell me that everything was working good and then I would hand them $100 or so for them coming out. Well, I genuinely did need a tune-up and since I didn’t get that, my oil furnace couldn’t keep up with the brutal weather, and luckily, I had a few space heating systems in my attic. I couldn’t remember the last time I used those space heaters, but they really came in handy. When my oil furnace died, I got them set up immediately and then called the Heating corporation for help. I ended up having to pay for an emergency service! It was about several times the cost of regular service, but it was indeed an emergency! Even though I had those space heating systems going, they weren’t nearly powerful enough to keep my arena warm! I was still chilly with the both of them running on full blast! I was happy that the Heating worker saved me by fixing the oil furnace, however I was disappointed at that overpriced bill I got for the emergency repair. If I only had gotten my Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C plan tune-up earlier on, I wouldn’t have had to pay nearly as much and I would never of had to experience such an ordeal.
