Need more a/c and sunshine

I pretty much always look forward to trying out new adventures. The other summer, that adventure was reading how to paddleboard! A lot of my friends were paddleboarding already, and I wished to go with them from time to time. Every weekend for a month, I was out on the lake simply trying to keep my balance… I ended up in the water on quite a few occasions. Luckily, all of us do not live in a section of the country where we have to fret about lake critters such as alligators, otters, or eels. When I finally got the hang of paddleboarding, I spent several hours on the lake! One Sunday afternoon, I didn’t realize I had been out there for quite a few hours. I had paddled about five miles away from my household. The sunshine was relentless and hot, and I was entirely burnt by the time I arrived back to the house. My skin was pretty much on fire, and a cool shower barely made a difference for me. I decided to nap on the bed with cooling device going. By the time I woke up a few hours later, my skin was entirely red and tight. I felt irritated, and I was starting to feel queasy from the intense heat exposure. I started to get goosebumps from the cooling device. No matter what I tried, I could not manage to regulate my body temperature. Even the cooling device wasn’t honestly helping, so I called my mother. She told me to drink plenty of fluids and cover my body in aloe vera. I laid in bed for quite a few days, before I could move my arms as well as legs. That was the worst sunburn I can ever recall.
