Poor indoor air conditions

This year for our 10-year anniversary, my hubby and I decided to take a cruise. Neither one of us had ever been on a cruise before, so both of us were naturally excited. Our 7 day cruise included visiting three different tropical locations. My hubby and I were very excited to snorkel with dolphins and water ski near the reefs. I wanted to see a whale shark, and my hubby was hoping to see a hammerhead shark. On the first day of the cruise, we were less than enthusiastic about the indoor air conditions. My hubby and I requested a room with a balcony, because both of us can easily get claustrophobic. Our room had a balcony, but the indoor air conditions were less than appealing. The air conditioner was barely working. Even when my hand was fully covering the air vent, I still couldn’t feel any cold air at all. We complained about the indoor air conditions on the first night, and we were promised a remedy in the morning. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any help with the indoor air conditions until we docked at our first destination. They had to contact someone from the island, to look into the problem with the entire HVAC system. We weren’t the only people having trouble. They gave all of the passengers vouchers for day excursions, while the HVAC system received the necessary repairs. We went on a dolphin watching tour, and saw some beautiful tropical fish. My hubby and I were happy to return to the boat later that night, and find that the indoor air conditions had finally improved.
