I don’t really know what is wrong with myself that I cannot seem to have a platonically friendly task environment no matter where I go, but either I stroll into the location plus become the star attraction, drawing way more attention than is neccesary for our new sitting in the organization, or else I’m totally ignored plus possibly hated from the get-go, but there genuinely seems to be no in between when it comes to this matter. I’ve recently started a brand new job yet unfortunately the pattern has continued, at first it seemed enjoy I was getting along with all the people just relaxing this time. plus then the side glances started, for the past two weeks I’ve been trying to figure out what I’ve done to irritate all the people, although I believe that I finally comprehend! Unbeknownst to me, I’ve been contributing to ongoing temperature control wars in the office… Now that I’m finally working here, there are lines drawn between the “sweaters” plus the “sweators” – as in, the folks who are continually freezing plus the ones who are way too sweaty all the time. There are two distinct camps, both vying for control of the office temperature control on a minute by minute basis, and here I am trapped in the middle. Every morning when I come into work, someone has already had their hands on the Heating and Air Conditioning settings… Within an half hour or so, another person makes their way to the temperature control device plus everything changes, soon, there is a full on battle being conducted in front of the heating plus cooling control device, however had I known that commenting on the chilly room would ever create such temperature drama, I would have kept my mouth shut and our part furnace at the house.
