Stale air in our A/C

I am not overly ecstatic with the gas furnace that I have installed in my house.  The gas furnace was already installed with the house when I firstly purchased my home 5 years ago.  I am suspicious that the heating plan is nearly 25 years old, and it’s no longer in decent condition.  Whenever the gas furnace is turned on, it makes an unpleasant screeching sound. It then spews lots of dust into the air, and it spreads the odor of burnt lint.  I suffer from a lot of migraines throughout the winter time of year, and I totally blame the gas powered furnace. Because we deal with super cold temperatures for about more than five months per year, the gas furnace is essential.  It seems to run all of the time, but the house is often freezing cold. There are drafts, cold spots, and the temperature is only good up by the ceiling. If I were willing to sit up on a ladder, my family and I could be nice and warm.  With our feet planted on the ice cold floors, we are forced to bundle up in very thick socks and heavy sweaters. The gas furnace is costing my family a fortune every week in energy bills. I am convinced that it is wasting energy and the unit is not at all efficient.  I should unquestionably invest in a whole new, modern, and more energy efficient gas furnace. I’ve looked into the heating units on the market and they offer all sorts of innovative features. There are gas furnaces which achieve as much as 98% AFUE, offer zone control, effectively filter the air, and connect to smart temperature controls.  Although I know I would significantly trim my weekly expenses with a current gas furnace, I can’t afford the purchase and installation price. I would thus need to take out a loan and make payments, and I am reluctant to do this. At this point, I’m trying to save up enough money to pay for the current gas furnace all at once.
