Today, I tried an experiment with our A/C. See, it’s been a really long, moderate summer time where all of us live in addition to our A/C bills have been really high for the past more than two weeks. That’s why, this week, when it’s been cooler than it’s been in weeks in addition to weeks, I decided to turn off our A/C in addition to open up the windows in addition to doors to try in addition to get some cool, fresh air into the house. Not only did I want some fresh air in the house, I wanted to give our A/C component a rest from regularly now working (and give our wallets a rest from regularly paying for the A/C!) Well, it worked pretty well for most of the day. The breeze was nice in addition to cool all day in addition to all of us didn’t really do anything difficult outside in the sunshine. It wasn’t awful at all until the night sunlight came streaming in through the back doors in addition to windows in addition to heating up the house. At that point, the heat in the condo became almost unbearable in addition to I decided to turn the temperature control back to A/C. Well, the condo had gotten so moderate by then that my hubby in addition to I couldn’t get to sleep. We’re used to sleeping with the temperature control set at around 67 or 72 degrees, in addition to the temperature was about 10 degrees hotter than that! Once the A/C kicked on again, it had to job 10 times harder to try in addition to cool the entire condo back down to a cooler temperature. I don’t suppose my plan worked out absolutely well at all. Our A/C bill will absolutely be more now than it would’ve been if I’d just let the programmable temperature control do its work.
