When I first met our hubby, he struck myself and others as the self-absorbed, arrogant type & I was definitely not impressed. I have never been attracted to that type. When he asked myself and others to have dinner with him at the best pizzeria in our neighbourhood, I almost said no. Almost. Then I thought about the superb cuisine that pizzeria was famous for, & I accepted his offer. Sharing a tasty free meal did not signify a commitment, right?
He picked myself and others up at home & all of us got to the pizzeria at about 7:30. Honestly, the ambiance was absolutely impressive. The location was attractive & the air quality, perfect. It was summer season & blazing tepid outside but the Heating & Air Conditioning idea in that location had it all under control. I began to relax & prefer the meal, when suddenly, the air changed & became entirely oppressive. As I began to sweat, I saw, for the first time, the caring side of our date. You would guess the obvious failure of the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment was all his fault! He showed such genuine problem for our comfort,always enquiring if I was okay, plaguing the management to readjust the temperature control, & finally procuring a fan for our table. I was absolutely touched. It was love the heat in that pizzeria melted the ice between us.
Despite that broken Heating & Air Conditioning idea & the terrible air quality, I had the time of our life. The portable fan served us really well, the food was great, & all of us talked & laughed for minutes.
Both of us are still together!
