About three months ago, I decided that I was going to have a home gym in my house. I thought about going to the public gym, but too many people knew me there. I had plumped up pretty good over the last couple of years and I couldn’t let them see me in this shape. I used to be the guy that everyone wanted to be and now I was a toad. I know that sounds horrible, but I couldn’t go to that gym until I look better. I decide to take my home office and transform it into a personal gym in my home. I moved all of the furniture around and I put my treadmill right beneath the air vent. I don’t know if that was a good thing or bad, but I could feel the air conditioning hitting me in the face the whole time I was on the treadmill. I started to work even harder, thinking that it was necessary to build up a sweat, which was proving to be really hard, because of the air vent placement. I soon realized that it was the hard work that had me beginning to lose weight, and not the sweating. After a couple months, I wanted to start with my crossfit weight training. I moved the treadmill from its spot and I put my weight bench there. I now had the air vent blowing out its air conditioning, directly onto me as I was wrestling with my weights. I suddenly realized that it is much nicer having the air conditioning in my face, than sweating so badly I couldn’t see.
